Good morning. I have successfully managed to grab about 6 hours sleep so should be in pretty good shape to beat the jet lag. Got into Bangkok about 10:55 pm and took about a hour to clear customs. Bob Singleton, my host, picked me up at the airport and got me to the hotel. Two ladies from ON (sponsoring agency) waited up for me at the hotel to get me all set up with my registration and meals/wireless internet and schedule. They are very gracious hosts and I know that I will be treated very well here.
I ate a Thai breakfast (by myself) this morning. With no one to tell me what I was eating, I hope that it all sets well. I enjoy ethnic food, especially in the country of origin--so this will be a fun week of experimenting.
Today I meet with the Thai country director to discuss our join venture with the Moken people after the tsunami. Some of you are aware that we (HCBC) worked with CCC to purchase property and build homes and a church for the Moken's (Thailands boat people) after they lost everything in the tsunami. We sent 4 teams and lots of $$$ to help out. (I think there is a video of this on facebook--somebody please post. The video doesn't show any HCBCers but some of the Mokens are wearning our tee shirts.)
After that, I meet with GS--National Director of ON--(sorry, but I have to be cryptic). We will discuss the purpose of the conference and the condition of the team (several have suffered recently due to their calling). Tonight we will have a dinner together and I will be introduced. Teaching begins tomorrow. Thanks for all your encouraging emails and your support. I am exactly 12 hours ahead of you so you can stay up with this journey. It's empowering to know so many of you are praying. God's will!!
Thanks for the update! Keep praying that you will be adjusted to the time schedule.

Tim - glad it's all gone so well. We'll cover your meetings in prayer now since we'll probably be asleep when they occur.

Sounds like all is going well. However I have concerns in regards to your breakfast...

Tim - glad to hear of your safe arrival. The food in Thailand can be very interesting. Sometimes it's better not to know what you ate. We continue to pray for the meetings and teaching.

Glad you got some good rest. We will be praying for you and your stomach. The street vendors have the best food so try to stay out of the hotel dining rooms...

Tim - Hopefully Cindy sent you with her Cipro(or whatever it's called) prescription. I pray you won't need it. Hey...by the way...you must have forgotten I was on the Central Asia team when you made that "old" comment at the Concert of Praise. I will forgive you for that and pray blessings on your trip anyway. LOL!

good evening, Tim. I found the video you referenced off Greg's profile on FB, uploaded by Chris DeGarmo. I think this is the one you intended: http://snurl.com/3hoqh. Thanks for the updates.
